About your hosts

I have been a dance teacher for over 40 years and a business owner for a few decades. Ten years ago, the relentless pace of my life caught up with me and a mental and physical burn-out forced me to reevaluate my lifestyle.

I was already a yoga convert, but I found myself in need of deeper well-being experiences. After participating in many retreats as a guest, I decided I wanted to use my skill set and experience to set up a retreat that would cater to people that, like me, are looking for a safe space to nourish their bodies and spirits.

With my partner Graham we decided to create Sunsetbay Wellbeing Retreats held in The Chapel we own together, this was made possible with the help of many local professionals. We pour our souls into each retreat to make sure our guests leave feeling regenerated, relaxed and nourished in many ways.

An all-round wellbeing experience

At our wellbeing retreat, we take immense pride in curating a truly transformative experience for our guests. With a handpicked team of seasoned experts, we have crafted an extraordinary five-star wellness break that promises to elevate your mind, body, and soul.

On the program: holistic workshops, invigorating outdoor activities, rejuvenating treatments, and revitalizing yoga and meditation practices, as well as nourishing plant-based food. 

Our mission is to create an all-encompassing escape from the rigours of daily life, allowing you to breathe in the fresh air, embrace an active lifestyle, conquer physical challenges, and find solace from stress and anxiety. But don’t worry; it’s not all serious business – we promise we have lots of fun along the way!

Our exceptional team will be by your side every step of the journey. Whether you seek a moment of self-indulgence, a chance to unwind, or a desire to explore new wellness horizons, our Chapel is the perfect sanctuary for all of it. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a first-time retreater, we cater to everyone needing well-deserved “me-time.”
